About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Brazilian Herbicide Journal is a publication of the Brazilian Weed Science Society (SBCPD). It is aimed at providing high quality publications to the scientific society as well as open and complete results from relevant researches in Weed Science focusing on the following fields:
- Weed Management;
- Herbicide selectivity to cultivated species;
- New herbicides;
- Weed resistance to herbicides;
- Herbicide physiology and biochemistry;
- Herbicide dynamics in the environment;
- Technology of herbicide application.
Peer Review Process
The Brazilian Herbicide Journal relies on a group of notable experts in weed science and related fields. Original manuscripts will be submitted to reviewers who are renowned experts in the subject discussed. Papers will be immediately sent for review without authorship identification. The selection process of articles involves the review of 1 or 2 “ad hoc” experts and members of the Editorial Board.
Open Access Policy
This journal offers open and immediate access to its content following the principle that providing open scientific knowledge to the public fosters greater global knowledge exchange.
